“The Doctor was puzzled: Unexplained Medical Symptoms”

Dr Chris Ball

Consulting Medical Officer, Gen Re

 

Dr Chris Ball studied medicine at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London, qualifying in 1983. His initial training was in Primary Care Medicine followed by specialist training in mental health based at Guy’s Hospital. His current consultant post is at the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.
He has had a long association with GenRe beginning with the preparation of first Long Term Care Underwriting Manual and he has been CMO with the company for the last thirteen years. He has written extensively on mental health and insurance matters as well as contributing to seminars at industry meetings.
